Since many users want to maintain their privacy by hiding Orkut album photos, there is no need of showing a photo updates tab in their profile page. Generally photo updates tab displays your recently uploaded photos, but if your photo album is locked, no one can even see your photos in that photo update tab. To hide your recent photo and video updates from your profile page, follow the below steps :
- Login to your Orkut profile.
- Navigate to Settings >> General
- Search for a option called “Features to show on your profile“
- Simply uncheck those “Photos” and “videos” option.
- Click “Save” to save the changes you made.
- You are done.
If you want to restore the default settings and show recent photo or video updates on your profile page as usual, you can follow above steps and select those options. But hiding them are enhanced ways to customize your profile and protect your privacy on Orkut.
