How to Uninstall or Remove Orkut Themes from Your Computer

Adding new Orkut themes and customizing your Orkut profile according to your choice is fun. I have got several comments on Darkorkut about uninstalling process of these theme. There might be various reasons behind uninstalling or removing greasemonkey themes like if you have used a picture that looks odd or you want to apply a new theme. If these are the cases, you can always make a new theme and apply on the current one, new one will replace the previous one without any conflicts. But if you want to remove or uninstall Greasemonkey themes permanently, read further.

There are two ways to do this, one is temporary disable and another one is permanently uninstall. I will cover them step by step. I will assume that you are using Firefox in both these cases.

How to Remove Orkut Themes Temporarily

1. Open Firefox and look at the bottom right area of your browser.
2. You can notice a monkey icon there. Click on it (left mouse click).
3. That’s it. All greasemonkey scripts are temporarily disabled now.
4. You are done.

Now if you want to permanently uninstall or remove a Orkut theme from your computer, follow below steps.

Disable Orkut Themes from your Computer Permanently

1. Open Firefox browser and locate that GreaseMoneky script.
2. Right click on the monkey icon and navigate to Manage user scripts
3. Select the theme from the left sidebar and click on Uninstall at the bottom area.
4. You are done.
